GULAB JAMUN :D
GulabJamun is a milk-solids -based dessert, similar to a dumpling, popular in countries of the South Asian Subcontinent such as India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh, also in the Caribbean countries of Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname and Jamaica and in Mauritius.
Gulab Jamun are very easy to make. Instead of buying them from expensive bakeries/sweet shops, try this recipe. :)
These are hygienic and yummy at the same time.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup milk powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tblsp white flour (maida)
1 egg
1 tblsp oil
METHOD:
Mix all the ingredients and make a dough. Make small balls.
Fry them at low heat in hot oil until brown.
INGREDIENTS FOR SUGAR SYRUP:
2 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 pinch cardamom(ilaichi powder)
METHOD:
Mix and leave the mixture on low heat until a sugary syrup is formed.
DIP THE GULAB JAMUN IN SUGAR SYRUP AND ENJOY :D
