No Bake Oreo Cheese Cake!
Hello, People!
Yes, I still exist. Kind of! :P
So basically in mid-February I somehow managed to fracture my left humerus - hilarious, I know.
I will share the whole story some other day xD
Anyway, due to that I was unable to bake (or do anything else at all) which made me very lazy (not that i wasn't before xD) and i am still in that phase because yes it is much better now but it hasn't completely recovered. Physio-therapy and university mostly keep me occupied but i still try to keep myself in the game.
I have been trying new recipes for different things and i'll try to share the progress with you guys.
I have been wanting to make a cheese cake for a very long time, I have tried it once before and it was a complete disaster so to compensate with myself i decided to give it another shot!
Everybody loves cheese cakes, especially me and my cousins. The feeling of decadent cream cheese and a crispy crust mixed with yummy crushed Oreos is a complete treat to the taste buds. It truly makes you float.
AND last week i finally tried it again after wasting hours on you-tube finding the easiest and yummiest cheese cake recipe.
Then i came up with my version of the delicious OREO CHEESE CAKEE!
I had my fingers crossed about the recipe and LO' & BEHOLD it turned out amazing :D
So I decided to share it with you guys :D

25 Oreos
3 Tblsp Butter
METHOD:
1. To make the crust, combine the Oreo crumbs and the melted butter.
2. Press the crumbs into the bottom of a spring-form pan or a loose base tin. Set in the refrigerator to firm.
3. Beat cream cheese and sugar together until well combined and set aside.
4. Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
5. Mix gelatin in hot water and add it to the cream cheese mixture while continuously stirring it.
6. Pour cream cheese mixture in the whipped cream and fold.
6. Pour cream cheese mixture in the whipped cream and fold.
7. Fold in the crushed oreos or some big chunks.
8. Spread the filling over the base.
9. Refrigerate for about 8-10 hours or leave it in fridge overnight.
10. Sprinkle with coco-powder or oreos and SERVE!
It’s perfect! Not too cream cheesy, perfectly thick and creamy, and the best part it includes Oreos.
Do share your pictures if you give it try! :D
Imma make it!
